Strange behaviour (crash during compilation) Message-ID: <ByFpHK.C52@ns1.nodak.edu> Date: 28 Nov 92 16:22:32 GMT Article-I.D.: ns1.ByFpHK.C52 Sender: usenet@ns1.nodak.edu (News login) Organization: North Dakota Higher Education Computing Network Lines: 27 Nntp-Posting-Host: plains.nodak.edu Hello, I have expirienced the following problem: I ran make in order to compile ELM mailer on our 386BSD system (20MHz SX, 4M RAM) and after a couple of seconds I had no response at the terminal: no login was possible on our computer, information on logged userc couldn't be obtained by finger @ etc. But I don't know what happened to the system itself. The problem seems to occur pretty often when I try to make something during gcc compilation time. Does anyone have a clue what I should do...?
