Any reason >I should wait for production-quality code, or is it pretty much >usable right now? > >Thanks in advance. well, i use 3.2 but with diamond. still i'd like to comment it a bit. the "support" there is for matrox adapters seems to be only in the svga server, and it means there's no acceleration being used. so it MUST be "poor"... but atleast it's something. i'm personally more happy that ViRGE has it's own server already. and i will tell more personal experiences from matrox under xfree86 as soon as i find time to installe the 2.1.5 or whatever i decide into the second machine in my home network. there's already a 4Mb matrox and 17" monitor waiting to be installed. the expectations are not high yet. but i _do_ believe when the own server for millenium comes out, it will be worth to get the card. >-David. mickey
