i went through the install process. did a minimal to start with. it
appeared to work great. i did nothing to the boot record because i want to
boot from a floppy. the install never asked me if i wanted to make a boot
floppy. after realizing that the install boot floppy wouldn't boot to
freebsd, i started searching all the documents i could on making a boot
disk for my new install. couldn't find anything on it at all. so i
reinstalled and said put the boot manager in. i rebooted and nothing,
still the same. so i gave up. what am i missing? i installed from my
primary master to my secondary master. i have three hard drives in this
machine. is there a way to install to the secondary master drive and have
a boot disk (a floppy) so i don't have to mess with the boot record.

please send any advice to e-mail as well as here, my news server sucks.
