Many newer SCO executables are starting to show up in ELF instead of COFF; check that the SCO program you want to run works on older versions of OpenServer or OpenDesktop before buying. Also note that you'll need a set of SCO shared libraries from somewhere; this objection applies to all free "SCO compatible" systems of which I am aware. You probably *cannot* legally use those libraries without buying a copy of SCO UNIX, so if you don't want to steal software you lose. -- Thor Lancelot Simon tls@panix.COM There's nothing like rancid bear fat to keep you happy. -Perry Metzger
