I did not read any but you can see one on ww.cdrom.com:
"The Installing And Running FreeBSD" By Greg Lahey
which is supposed to be the first book to read befere you think of installing
FreeBSD. What I think is that it's in some way close to The FreeBSD Handbook
published on http://www.freebsd.org/.
Greg Lahey mantined of another his book "The Complete FreeBSD" but there is
no information about it on www.cdrom.com (maybe it will appear soon).
There is one book about UNIX administering which covers many OS (SunOS, Solaris,
OSF/1, Irix and BSDI - which is pretty close to FreeBSD administration scheme)
and can be used by beginner and intermediate UNIX administrators:
"UNIX(R) System Administration Handbook" by Evi Nemethi, Garth Snyder,
Scott Seebass, and Trent R. Hein
