I've used the boot.flp from the PAO distribution site as well as the most recent 2.2 snap, both get to the point where it tries to get the IP for ftp.freebsd.org to do an ftp install and hangs. Nothing further happens until it times out. I'm using the BNC interface and have used the 3Com software to configure the card to these parameters: IO: 300 IRQ: 10 Interface: Coax (BNC) - tho I've tried Auto Sense as well. When possible I set the kernel Memory Address for the card to 0xee000 to agree with what the 3Com stuff said it was. On the debugging screen it says that the network was initialized ok but nothing beyond that. Does anybody use this card in BNC mode? I tried it a while back on a Compaq LTE and had the same experience. -- -------------------------------------------- Chris Larson larson@cs.utk.edu System Administrator - Computer Science Dept.
