Who said anything about not supporting SNMP? Who said
anything about not supporting routing protocols? I sure
didn't!
Don't put words into my mouth, foul beast!
But telnet/rlogin passthrough (which does require TCP)... that was
something that was a necessity years ago but you can *easily* get
away without it these days as 98% of your potential customer
base will be running PPP.
