Believe it or not, there is a good user guide on IIJPPP.  Here's a hint on
where to find it:

$ more /usr/share/doc/handbook

It is section 11.1, so if you do a little search using the '/' key, you
should go right to it.  It is also available by section 8 in your manual
pages.  Try typing:

$ man 8 ppp
