Hello all,

because I really need a proxy server which could
provide secure transactions, I tried to build
the (latest ?) release of the CERN proxy server,
which should connect my clients with thier SSL
servers.

Unfortunatelly I could'nt build the software,
(from ww.w3.org) I already "fixed" the BUILD which
doesn't recognized the uname of FreeBSD :(,
but nevertheless I always get following error, if
I'm running BUILD:

________________________________________________________________
WWW build for machine type: freebsd

------ Building W3C Reference Library ------

Object files of libwww will go to directory Library/freebsd
        - already exists

"Makefile", line 197: Need an operator
Fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue
*** Error code 1

Stop.
WWW build for freebsd done. status = 1
*** Error code 1

Stop.

Anyone solved the "problem" which I encountered?

Thanks in advance ann for ANY hint!
Dirk
