In order:

`Who they are' is more difficult to answer than `how to reach
them'. The latter is the FreeBSD-SMP mailing list
<freebsd-smp@freebsd.org>

Run:

echo "subscribe freebsd-smp" | mail majordomo@freebsd.org

to join the list

Basically they are working on boards & systems that support the Intel
MP spec, and not a propriatary solution. The only processors being
supported right now are Intel P5's and P6's to the best of my
knowledge.
