I have a program I would like to be able to run, BackExec from Arcadia software, it supports the following platforms: agent.aix agent.hpux agent.isc agent.sco agent.sol_x86 agent.solaris agent.sunos agent.uware However, the only ones I don't get "Exec format error" on are isc and uware, although uware just spit out some terrible garbage :) isc seems the most promising, except it fails on: NRLInitialize: t_open /dev/tcp failed. t_errno=8 errno = 2 So, looking at SVR4's MAKEDEV (I just happen to notice it) I tested making a /dev/tcp mknod with parameter 43 and 35 (Like SVR4 in hope) but that didn't do much difference. So, now, can anyone tell me what I need to possibly get one of these clients to run? Thanks for any reply, Jorgen Lundman, lundman@cranberry.co.uk. Programmer Cranberry Source www.cranberry.co.uk
