Under Options -> General -> Appearance -> Startup, I selected `Browser starts with Blank page.'. With that, my 486/66 takes only 15 seconds to start NS 3.01. If you're using auto dialup, you're probably frozen until the dialup completes. I've noticed that NS completely freezes during DNS lookups(?). If it's trying to load the first page before it shows the screen, you're going to be in for a wait. - Tim
