I would like to mark out the bad sector on the hard disk. Does anyone know how to handle this problem or any utility that I can use ? I have tried running diskdefect and fsck, they both can't solve my problem (in fact, diskdefect crashed). Currently part of my file system is not accessible and the reboot process will halt half way. Please help to advise appropriate action. Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks.
