Intention.  You can use `kcon' to install a different key mapping than
the default.  Note that this is a very religous question...  See also
/usr/share/misc/keycap.pcvt.

Intention.  Well, you can also use Ctrl-Alt-F<n>.  The same as the X
server uses.

I can't frankly remember the solution to get the box characters
working.  Mind you, they are _supposed_ to work, but there's some
magic trick the VT220 termcap entry doesn't have... and i eventually
forgot about it.
