A DOS or 95 installation will overwrite the boot sector of System Commander and force a reinstall (of Sys. Cdr.). When I installed NT4 I had no such problem. But I am looking at my FreeBSD CDs now and am planning on installing for the first time on this new machine so I can't promise anything.
