You definitely have me confused on this one. If you already have a link
to your machine, why do you need another one?

Even assuming the need, to have your home machine dial up your (I
assume) local machine while your local machine is logged into an ISP,
you would need a second phone line and a second modem in your local
machine, so you could complete the PPP connection before logging off the
ISP.

Wouldn't it be simpler all around to let your home machine accept
incoming PPP access, and then dial it up directly?
