Lines: 16 Message-ID: <5801t2$t5@masters0.InterNex.Net> NNTP-Posting-Host: godzilla.activesw.com I have a P90 with 3 hard drives (SCSI ID 0,1,2). I have 2 1 Gb FAT partitions on the first HD (A HP SureStore 2000 model C3725S), and FreeBSD 2.1 on ID 1 & 2. I want to install the FreeBSD bootmanager on the HP. However, the FreeBSD install program doesn't see sd0, it just sees sd1 and sd2, so I cannot install the boot manager on the first disk (I have to use a boot floppy to boot FreeBSD). I've tried this with FreeBSD 2.1.5 as well, is there some kind of incompatability between the HP SureStore C3725S and FreeBSD ? Win95 and DOS have no problems with the drive... -Eric -- http://www.activesw.com/~eric/ EL!TE YOONICKS(TM) Solaris & FreeBSD user Eric van Bezooijen | "Faboo!"- Wakko Warner, Animaniacs #Warlord *THIS* eric@csua.berkeley.edu | "Oh joy of Joys!"- Stimpson J.
