[ ** Apologies for the job posting on this newsgroup ** ]

F5 Labs is a leading developer of practical, reliable solutions to some of
the internets most pressing problems. Our flagship product, BIG/ip, allows
network servers (e.g., http, ftp) to be cheap, scalable, robust, and fast.
We approach problems from a solid engineering, marketing, and financial
perspective with the vision needed to take the world by storm.

We are actively seeking individuals with the skill, experience, and drive
to join our compact team and help us live up to our collective potential.
Currently, we have two software positions available on a newly forming
project team:

1. Kernel Hacker

In addition to the general requirements (below), candidates must have at
least 2 years experience with low-level UNIX (BSD-like), kernel
structures, I/O, and devices. Knowledge of TCP/IP and other protocols is
essential. Experience with common networking practices and system
administration is preferred.

2. Software Developer

In addition to the general requirements (below), candidates must have the
ability to adapt to a variety of demanding situations, including
development of key system level software, client/server architectures,
programmer toolkits, user interfaces, and testing suites. In addition to
UNIX, experience with other PC operating systems (NT, Mac) is preferred.

The MINUMUM requirements for ALL candates are:
o Bachelors Degree (preferably in Computer Science)
o 5 years or more of hands-on programming experience
 o 2 years in a professional team-oriented work environment
 o  2 years experience with C/C++, UNIX, _and_ TCP/IP
o A demonstrated ability to function as an integral member of a team and
    without direct supervision
o At least 3 recent references

Resumes from exceptional candidates are always accepted.
F5 Labs in an Equal Opportunity Employer.

F5 Labs is located in downtown sunny Seattle, WA.
