I've installed the release 2.1.5 but the boot disk failed to detect my
pioneer cdrom (4x and it's PNP). I've one hard disk on IDE0 master and the
cdrom is on the IDE1 master. The jumper of the cdrom has been set to
master. My computer configuration is P133 with Asus motherboard. I am not
sure if the problem is due to the PNP feature of the cdrom and system
BIOS, but i also installed linux and the kernel recognised the cdrom
without any problem.

After i used the FTP method to install the FreeBSD 2.1.5 and tried to
compile the kernel with all the necessary right like

......
controller wdc1
options ATAPI
......

but the cdrom still not working.

I also used the same boot disk to boot my home P133 and it could see my
Toshiba 6X cdrom (no PNP) which is also on IDE1.

Any idea is very much appreciated.
