Try using DOS's "fdisk" to remove the partition that you
want to install FreeBSD on (D:)- FreeBSD can't install on
a DOS partition unless it first removes that partition (or
changes the sysid).

I havn't used "fastboot", but it occurs to me that you had
better not put the FreeBSD distribution somewhere that's going
to get overwritten (D:).
