Hey

I was successful now in invoking the ppp manually. With the help
of the readers of this newsgroup. Now I want to automate the dialing
and logging process, but it seems not to work. After typing
dial xxx it reports:
dial ok!
login ok!
ppp on tusia> Packet mode
ppp on tusia>

It seems to forget the dznamic address negotiation.

/etc/ppp/ppp.conf

xxx:
set login ....
set ifaddr xxxx/0 xxxx/0

/etc/ppp/ppp.linkup

MYADDR:
 add 0 0 HISADDR

----

Is it important to have the
add 0 0 HISADDR in the ppp.conf file? Or is it a different problem?

Greets
Bye
