Looks like a reasonable low-cost storage method. Anyone have any opinions about the viability or life-expectancy of this device? Sure, it's slower than (SCSI) ZIP drives, but it looks like it has the potential to be much cheaper -- current drives are ~$200 and media ~$11 -- as always, I'd expect prices to fall as it becomes more prevalant. I've heard some bad things about ZIP drives (I know the JAZ is out now, but the price of LS-120/ZIP is worth it, even if the media is smaller), but am unsure if the issues are well founded or not. I need a solution that will work equally well in DOS, Windows95, and Unix. Thanks! -- ________________________________________________________________________ L.
