sc0 and psm0 are suppose to share the port, could you send the
output of the command `/sbin/dmesg' and the command `ls -l /dev/psm0'

you should see something like:

sc0 at 0x60-0x6f irq 1 on motherboard
sc0: VGA color <16 virtual consoles, flags=0x0>
psm0 at 0x60-0x63 irq 12 on motherboard

crw-------  1 root  wheel   21,   1 Jul 16 21:37 /dev/psm0

what are you using in your XF86Config file for a mouse? I have: 

Section "Pointer"
    Protocol "ps/2"
    Device "/dev/psm0"
    Emulate3Buttons
