Frankly, I dont need the extra work it takes to get it set up. If it can be used as is, as supplied on a basic install, fine. Indeed it doesn't do a real good job there either. Smail has english congif files, excellent log files, and a great deal of control over who gets what. Examples? I used smail to handle the incoming-outgoing traffic for the entire erum.com.pk domain (Pakistan) via UUCP in their first two years, befor they went satellite with Singapore. Not a problem. I now use smail (still) on the Internet connection. (IP), with few if any problems. I have an O'Reilly book on Sendmail. One day when I have a year to spare, I'll run up a box and try again! It looks to much like another operating system for my likings. In short, I simply dont have the time to 'learn' it. bob -- The China House.
