I'd be interested to see it. For two comparisons I've seen between Solaris, SunOS 4, and Linux have been on for calls to mprotect and for fault-handling. Both indicate that Solaris 2.5 is about 50% slower than SunOS 4.x, and about 3 times slower than Linux. If people are interested in seeing those comparisons, I can try to make them available (and attatch a little more accuracy and information to them.)
