After finally finding a boot disk which works with my system, I need
to know how to install from fixit floppy.  The INSTALL.NOTES say I
need to follow standard BSD installation procedures.

Since my BSD manuals are boxed up in my Mother's crawlspace some 2000
miles from here, I'd appreciate it if someone can outline the
procedure for me.
