To offer an alternate suggestion:

Actually (not to burst your bubble or anything), there's an excellent 
ApacheSSL server that is (somewhat) easy to configure and has an 
_excellent_ documentation set (available at website).

As far as I know, it's free for non-commerical purposes, or $500
(not bad at all) for the commercial release.

Try: http://www.apachessl.com  You'll need to get a password/username
to use their ftp site.
