I just installed 2.2-ALPHA (did a make world on a formerly : 960801 system). Now one of the programs fails looking for _mult, : which is present in libmp.so.2.0 but not in libmp.so.3.0. So now : I'm reduced to using LD_PRELOAD to run this program, forcing the : 2.0 version of libmp. Not good. Has _mult been renamed or something? I havn't looked at 2.2-alpha (I'm dialup, too expensive), but I've been stung before by overwriting a previous /usr/src. It's best to remove (or move) the old /usr/src before unpacking and building a new system. -- Brian <brian%anorak.coverform.lan@awfulhak.demon.co.uk> <http://www.awfulhak.demon.co.uk/> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour.... .
