Date: 6 Dec 1996 14:28:02 GMT Organization: Temple University, Academic Computer Services Lines: 16 Message-ID: <589ahi$qj0@cronkite.ocis.temple.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: thunder.ocis.temple.edu NNTP-Posting-User: 536870664 X-Newsreader: TIN [UNIX 1.3 950824BETA PL0] I am fairly new to FreeBSD... reasonably experienced in Linux & UNIX though... I am attempting to mount several partitions on my new FreeBSD machine from my existing Linux box. However, when I set no_root_squash in /etc/exports on the server side, I am still not allowed access to read/write as root in FreeBSD. Is there something I am missing here? Note the listed steps would work in Linux... -morgan Morgan Jones -> mjones01@thunder.ocis.temple.edu http://thunder.ocis.temple.edu/~mjones01 resume: http://thunder.ocis.temple.edu/~mjones01/resume.html
