For some reason, the kernel has permissions: -r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 881526 Nov 11 14:33 /kernel I am unable to chmod it, chown it, or mv it to any other name. I tried booting off of the new kernel I want to use, and then doing it, without success. I even tried booting the fixit floppy and doing it within there with no luck. This is fairly odd.. any ideas on how I can get this kernel out of the way? Thanks, paul
