I run an irc server on a FreeBSD 2.1.5 box.. after I boot up, the machine
will run nicely for the first day or two, then all of a sudden, the free
mem starts dropping. After about 4-6 days, I'll be down to about 1k free,
10MB of cache mem, 6MB wired (whetever the heck that is), and something
like 5MB buffers..

Why is everything being allocated to cache?? It works fine as if it were
actually free. Seems to reallocate well, but why does it do it in the
first place? Anyone know what I can do about this?
