But is this a good thing. Generally letting people loose rewriting things causes more problems than it solves. Sendmail's confusion over header and enverlope addresses has again caused more confusion and problems (I know it is better now). In general header rewriting should be avoided until you *need* to do it for some reason. Then it should be applied carefully.
