gs252 from ref.tfs.com produces some gorgeous output under 386BSD.
However, there seem to be some bugs still in the 386BSD version. For
instance, the following error is generated when processing dvips.ps,
the TeX dvi to Postscript conversion utility documentation:

--------------------
# gs dvips.ps

The same document processed without incident with gs252 under SunOs. I
haven't looked at the code yet (I am looking into a 24-pin dvieps
driver for TeX). Any suggestions in the mean time are appreciated.
