However, there seem to be some bugs still in the 386BSD version. For instance, the following error is generated when processing dvips.ps, the TeX dvi to Postscript conversion utility documentation: -------------------- # gs dvips.ps Initializing... done. Error: /rangecheck in --putinterval-- Operand stack: 469 72 -savetype- 18 (\003\340\000) 0 (\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377) Execution stack: %interp_exit --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- %finish_show --nostringval-- --nostringval-- %show_continue --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 0 --nostringval-- %image_continue --nostringval-- --nostringval-- %loop_continue --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- Dictionary stack: 399/479 5/200 125/200 Ghostscript 2.5.2 (9/20/92) -------------------- The same document processed without incident with gs252 under SunOs. I haven't looked at the code yet (I am looking into a 24-pin dvieps driver for TeX). Any suggestions in the mean time are appreciated. -Andrew Moore <alm@netcom.com>
