Hola.  I'm new to FreeBSD as well but can help you out here I think as I
am thoroughly familiar with Win95.

Windows95 will EAT you boot sector everytime you install it.  Doesn't
matter whats there.  It likes to "be incharge" so to speak so it will
completely overwrite your boot sector with its own.

No biggie though.  Just reinstall the "OS loader" that you were using
and your good to go.  With the one that the folks who put FreeBSD
together it will have an option for DOS.  Just pick that and you're on
your way to Windows95....you can still do the whole F8 deal with
Windows95 too.  You can find it in the ./tools subdirectory on the ftp
site for the version of FreeBSD you're running.

As for the mounting of an MS-DOS partition you may want to leave off the
"fs" part of mount_msdosfs so that it reads "mount_msdos" and try again.
