Hi,

Here is the problem :
I used tcpdump to gather some more information.

It seems that my default router becomes me default DNS server and
it should not be, tcpdump reports, "udp port router unreachable"
as if this service is not available on my default router, and why not
I have two DNS' waiting to service requests. My /etc/resolv.conf
file contains the two DNS servers' addresses.

My address is assigned dynamically, and I can ping to my newly
assigned address and to my default router as well.

INFO: My address falls into 207.96.x.y as will my default router.
DNS Servers on 205.111.a.b (2) which I can not ping
CISCO or else on 144.a.b.c and I can ping it end telnet to it.

PS. I`m achaimed to say it but it works well under Win95 :-(
PS. Maybe my ISP knows something I don't ?

RS.
