My FreeBSD 2.1 system just started giving errors when trying to
process incoming mail from my UUCP connection. The log file reports
the following:

Dec 14 00:13:06 redpoint sendmail[199]: AAA00197: bogus queue file,
uid=66, mode=100600
Dec 14 00:13:06 redpoint sendmail[199]: Losing qfAAA00197: bogus file
uid in mqueue

Internal mail (ie from one local user to another local user) seems to
work fine but anything received via uucp fails. This was working fine
until earlier today.

The only thing I am aware of that changed was the ISP I connect to
when I pick up my mail, although the mail is still serviced from the
same machine (just that the previous ISP is no longer providing
dial-up).

Can anyone explain to me just what the above errors mean and,
hopefully, how to fix it?

Many thanks,
Don
