A fair cop - kernel (what I presume you mean by "real") threads is HP-UX 10.30. : What's the equivalent to truss on HP-UX? I think it is found in the HP-UX software archive(s) which should be listed in the HP-UX FAQ, which itself is archived on rtfm.mit.edu under pub/usenet/comp.sys.hp.hpux/ and only recently started getting posted regularly to comp.sys.hp.hpux after a bit of a hiatus.
