Rezac) Newsgroups: comp.unix.bsd Subject: [386bsd] portmap failures Message-ID: <1644@dcsc.dla.mil> Date: 3 Dec 92 13:21:20 GMT Organization: Defense Construction Supply Center, Columbus Lines: 27 [This is a re-post - our news feed went down around the same time I made the original post - I do not know if it got out or not] I have been having a problem with the portmapper. on boot, nfsd and mountd report that they can not register with portmap rpcinfo (rpcinfo -p ) only reports the portmap as running. None of the programs started by inetd show up. I have re-compiled the portmap, mountd with no success. Any Suggestions: Duane L.
