However, when I do use -x the streams are garbled. I have "solved" the problem in the meanwhile by taking /usr/lib/libdes.so.2.0 and /usr/lib/libkrb.so.2.0 from 2.1-RELEASE and installing them, and then: ln -s libkrb.so.2.0 libkrb.so.2.1 ln -s libdes.so.2.0 libdes.so.2.1 ldconfig -m /usr/lib This 1) installs the working libraries and 2) takes away the annoying ld.so message complaining its using an older version of the libraries than expected. Has anyone seen this same behavior? -- Lehitra'ot! jason .,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,., `Jason Gabler Home Office: 415-752-1969 (M-W,F) ` 'Programmer/Analyst Campus Office: 916-752-9215 (Th) ' `Information Technology - DCAS E-Page: jygabler@dcaspager.ucdavis.edu' 'University of California, Davis http://quadrophenia.ucdavis.edu ` `'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'`'
