When running x3270 or other clients it happens to me very often, that olwm
(from cc.purdue.edu xview3) looses connection to the mouse. This sometimes
happens under twm in a slightly different way. I.e., I can still move the
mouse arrow, also key focus is still active in an xterm but mouseclicks cannot
pop any windows or menues. (when this happens I have window selection on
entering active).

I can bet that it happens when I type too fast or type a certain CTRL, ALT, SHIFT or CAPSLOCK sequence.

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature :)

Anyway, is anyone else observing this, too?
