Has anyone tried load any rev > of BSD on one of these Compaq's? 2.1 works well on ProSignia 300 (needs a patch on 2.0). We use it as our web/ftp server. The on-board SCSI uses the NCR driver. Be sure to install the BIOS boot blocks, the others won't work. Forget about the on-board Ethernet though. Lastly, run xtnpd (our ProSignia loses about 10 seconds a day) . _____________________________________________________________________ Martin Durand Cegep de Sainte-Foy mdurand@cegep-ste-foy.qc.ca 2410, chemin Sainte-Foy Reseaux/networks, Telecoms Sainte-Foy, Quebec, Canada, G1V 1T3 Voix : +1-418-659-6600 #4275 Fax : +1-418-659-4563
