Um, is this an easy thing to do? I want to use 2.7.2 for c++ so I can
use STL, but I don't mind using 2.6.3 for C. Can I just install the C
package in /usr/local and soft link the c++ compiler to it? What
about the C++ libraries? Why is there a pentium gcc for 2.7.2 in the
ports, but not a regular one? Any caveats?

Thanks,

Mike Harding
