Do I have to reformat/repartition/do-anything-nasty-to these drives or will FreeBSD cope with the SunOS disc partitioning (Linux will I think)? Its just that one drive is 3GB and the other is 9GB and finding somewhere to shove the data while the disc is rebuilt could be difficult! Incidentally the specs of the machine are: P200 +64MB of RAM 3GB EIDE drive Adaptec 2940UW Intel Ether Express Pro 100B 100MBit ether card. and it will be serving about 12 suns via a switched hub (the suns are on 10base-t) Thanks in advance, Dave -- ----------- (Phone: 0161-275-3547) ------------------------ Man can not live - David Alan Gilbert - gilbertd@cs.man.ac.uk - G7FHJ@GB7BEV by bread alone.
