Well, I just received my new 486DX33 8-)
but I'm having trouble getting install to work correctly :-(
I get the following when I run it:
{ the boot floppy boots great. Finds all devices }
% install
Do you want to install 386BSD in the disk drive's 386BSD partition? (y/n) n
Do you want to install 386BSD on the ENTIRE drive ? (y/n) y
You realize this means you lose the old contents of this drive.
Do you *still* want to install 386BSD on the entire drive ? (y/n) y
{ the machine hangs here. No hard disk accesses, nothing. }
Any clues?
BTW, the disk is a MAXTOR 7213AT off of a generic IDE controller (with
parallel, serial and games ports). The floppies boot fine, but the hard
disk just won't come to life.
If you have a disktab for this drive, then please send it to me!
Thanks,
-paul
