I think you misunderstood his question. I believe he wants to know if there is a 'samba-like' server package that he can use to make his FreeBSD system look like a Novell file server to the DOS machine. I don't think he wants to know how to run samba on the Novell machine since he says he wants to get rid of it. (Then again I may be wrong; the question is very poorly phrased.) I don't know the answer to this question. If it was up to me, I'd try to ditch Novell Netware completely and use some other form of client software for the DOS PC, possibly NFS. Then you couldn't have to do anything special to the FreeBSD host at all (except maybe run pcnfsd on it). -Bill -- ============================================================================= -Bill Paul (212) 854-6020 | System Manager, Master of Unix-Fu Work: wpaul@ctr.columbia.edu | Center for Telecommunications Research Home: wpaul@skynet.ctr.columbia.edu | Columbia University, New York City ============================================================================= "If you're ever in trouble, go to the CTR.
