I am running 2.1.5 and using the /etc/hosts file for name resolution
on my net. In etc/host.conf I have put hosts before bind.

Name resolution was working fine but has suddenly failed. Calling
host.exe with an ip address correctly returns the hostname but
calling with a hostname fails.

I have examined every file that was modified in the last week and
could not find anything that could explain this problem. Host.exe
has not been changed since I installed FreeBSD.

   Any ideas would be appreciated.
