The message does not offend me... I have a very high tolerance for obscenity myself, but I know that it could hurt the image of Linux (albeit slightly), and is really not necessary. I don't think it is a matter of "narrow-mindedness" at all. An example: If you walk up to your boss and swear at them, would they be considered narrow minded for taking offense?
