I'm having problems installing 386BSD 0.1 I'm installing this on an Insight 486DX50 EISA with: 32 bit DTC SCSI caching controller, 520 meg fujitsu scsi drive, Diamond Speedstar 24X, and a Viewsonic 7. After unpacking dist.fs onto a floppy and booting it, I get: ..... ..... ..... fd0 drives ...(the two drives).. as0as: put byte timed out at 0x330 irq 11 drq 5 on isa npx0 at 0xf0 irq 13 on isa changing root device to fd0a and that's it. It just sits there, nothing else on the screen and neither disk drive or hard drive lights are on. I tried hitting return or esc or anything. Nothing works short of hitting the reset button. Help!?!? Any help would be appreciated. Asaf akashi@cs.uiuc.edu akashi@ux4.cso.uiuc.edu
