I don't tend to worry about installing the full set of sources - just the
kernel.  So the smailcf set is essential for me.

It taught me a thing or two about sendmail.  I'm used to the sendmail setup
from older Slackware Linux versions - where UUCP and smarthosts work right
out of the box (with no need to generate your own sendmail.cf).  With all
the trouble I'm having with our mail/news server (presently running Linux),
the stuff from the FAQ has removed the only impediment to moving it to
FreeBSD.
