I have netscape working just fine in X (although i'm using 95 now...) with a smtp server. I tried pine, but i could never get it to connect, so i zapped it. I had "domainname: javanet.com" (forget the exact op) and "smtp server: mail.javanet.com". However, this didn't help, and pine never seemed to check with the server. If it helps, i have a dynamic ip address at a dial-in account. Are there alternative packages that might do the job out there? thanks. (also...an unrelated question. i recently installed the color_xterm package and lost my Xaw3d scrollbars. any hints for how to get them back?) -- =---------=----------------------------------------=---------= | ((___)) | "You can tune a file system, but you | ((___)) | | [ x x ] | can't tune a fish." -tunefs man page | [ x x ] | | \ / =----------------------------------------= \ / | | (' ') | John Szumowski - harpo@javanet.com | (' ') | | (U) =----------------------------------------= (U) | =---------= =---------=
